Provided support with Business Cases, RFP’s, quotes and renegotiations for 2019 RFP Season.    Sourced new CNR Accounts with a combined target of 1,500 room nights with specific focus on Financial, IT and Consultancy companies.  Liaised with venues to ensure hotel is set up properly to maximise allocations, contracts and opportunities for 2019.  Identified and liaised with key DMC’s, PCO’s in Ireland, England and Internationally. Investigate Irish and UK based feeder market opportunities.  Investigate Airlines coming into Dublin and provide recommendations on which ones to cultivate for 2019/2020



Focus Hotel Group

DATES: October 2018 – March 2019

Project:  Reporting to the Group Commercial Director for Focus Hotels Management Company, this project provided pre-opening support for Staybridge Suites Dundee by targeting corporate organisations having a requirement for extended stays.  Support was also provided to the  Sales Manager of Hotel Indigo Dundee in identifying and contracting new business and opportunities within the local and national market.

LOCATION: Wynard, County Durham

Project:  Ongoing support providing research and prospect calls to secure new contracts for the four key elements of the business including; venue finding service for conference and events, promoting Event Stop on-line booking tool to Hotels and Venues requiring a solution for on-line ticketing; sourcing new leads and contacts who potentially have the need for the clients Apprentice Stop solution.


Kennford Group

DATES: October 2018 – Current

Project:  Reporting directly to the Owner of Kennford Hotels, this ongoing project involves researching, developing and contracting local and national corporate accounts for two hotels in Walsall, West Midlands working closely with the Hotel General Managers and the National Sales Teams of Radisson and IHG.


La Cala Hotel, Golf and Spa Resort

LOCATION: Malaga, Spain
DATES: July 2019

Project:  To review the Sales Structure at La Cala Hotel, Golf and Spa Resort in Malaga, Spain.  Project involved visiting the Resort, meeting with each one of the 14 Members of the Sales Team, reviewing, assessing their roles and reporting back to the Group Chairman, the Hotel General Manager and the Regional Director of Sales and findings and suggestions for a more streamlined and profitable sales structure in line with the commercial goals for the Resort.


Warren House

Project:  Reporting to the Hotel General Manager and the Commercial Manager, this short term project involved raising the profile of this Independent Hotel to the UK/International Agents and DMC’s in order to drive more MICE business.


Hampton by Hilton

LOCATION: Birmingham
DATES: July 2019 - September 2019

Project:  Providing Interim support to the General Manager of the Hampton by Hilton Hotel, Birmingham Broadstreet during recruitment period.  The key focus was to identify new business opportunities for local and national corporate accounts.  Working remotely and on-site to research, develop and contract new accounts.


Rockliffe Hall Hotel

LOCATION: Darlington, County Durham
DATES: August 2019

Project:  Appointed by the Chairman of this 5 Red Star luxury hotel, golf and spa resort to review the commercial structure of the business and recommend a re-structure to ensure the commercial objectives and targets were able to be achieved.


Interstate Hotels and Resorts - Ibis Hotel Dublin

LOCATION: Dublin, Ireland
DATES: November 2019 - January 2020

Project:  Interim support provided during recruitment period involved qualifying the hotels portfolio of local corporate accounts, rate negotiations, finalising contracts for 2020 and updating Sales Force with results.


Valor Hospitality - Crowne Plaza

DATES: April 2020 - Current

Project:  Providing interim sales support during recruitment period of a Director of Sales.  Targeting new business from local and national corporate accounts, re-qualifying existing corporate and MICE accounts and updating outcome in Sales Force.  Utilising Key City Volume Reports and Local Corporate Mapping exercise.


PAJE Consultancy

DATES: December 2019 - Current

Project:  Subcontracted by PAJE Consultancy to research and contract new Members/Subscriptions for Venues of Excellence.  Project also involved proactively calling Members of Academic Solutions to invite them to Member Events using HubSpot to update the organisations data base.
